We match the spring to the door's actual weight and drum size rather than guessing off what's currently on the shaft, since a lot of these older installs have already had a mismatched spring put on at some point by whoever was cheapest that year. On a standard double door we're usually replacing both springs even if only one broke - the survivor is the same age and close behind.
We run trucks across the service area this covers, including El Cerrito, Norco, El Sobrante, Eastvale, and the towns further out toward Chino Hills and Jurupa Valley, so if you're near any of those you're inside our normal run, not a special trip. Same core hardware, same failure pattern, just different drive times.
One honest limit: not every spring size is a shelf item. Standard torsion springs for common door weights we usually carry on the truck; oversized or custom-wound springs for heavier insulated doors sometimes mean a short order wait rather than a same-visit fix. We'll tell you on-site which situation you're in before we start, not after.
